Entity Framework Mapping Helper

Entity Framework mapping helper lets you create sample mapping files for the set of scenarios you are interested in. It’s a great tool for a deeper understanding for how schema files are defined for complex mapping scenarios in Entity Framework.

How might I use this?

I'm probably really thick... but it looks like it would be help. But...

It is just an executable file. You download and run locally. The interface would allow you to choose from different mapping scenarios; choose the one you are interested and hit "Display Mapping" to generate the sample schema files. In the left pane it will show you the graphical representation.

Congratulation on coming up with this brilliant tool. I was desperately looking for something like this, and was asking for help in ADO.NET Entity Framework and LINQ to Entities (Pre-release) group when for Diego Vega pointed towards this resource. I have updated my article (http://www.codeproject.com/KB/architecture/LinqEntityFramework.aspx) to let others know about this tool!

Excelent. Thanks! I have a suggestion though: Dont use combination of blue/red, small fonts and diagrams not easy to follow. For the first time ever I needed to use the Magnifier tool in Windows, but still the blue/red makes difficult to read.

Very nice tool of course but that electric blue background is hurting my poor eyes
