This hotfix only applies to the products Visual Studio 2008 SP1, Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition SP1, Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition SP1, Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express Edition SP1, Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition SP1. If you try to apply it to other versions of Visual Studio or Visual Web Developer Express, you will get an error dialog box with the message

“None of the products that are addressed by this software update are installed on this computer. Click Cancel to exit setup.”


Issue Description
Loc Intellisense QFE to replace all Loc Intellisense shipped with Visual Studio 2008 SP1

FIX: After you install a non-English version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Service Pack 1, some localized IntelliSense text may revert to English

Symptoms
After you install a non-English version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Service Pack 1 (SP1), some localized IntelliSense text may revert to English. This problem occurs in the following language versions of Visual Studio 2008 SP1:

• Chinese (simplified)
• Chinese (traditional)
• German
• Spanish
• French
• Italian
• Japanese
• Korean

Prerequisites
You must have Visual Studio 2008 SP1 installed before you apply this hotfix.
