I'm running a standard Windows application in C, and still couldn't step into a function in the Windows API, after installing this update.

Belloc: switch to disassembly mode. You can't step into a Windows API in source mode unless you have the full symbols and the source for Windows, which I doubt you have.

This hotfix made a huge improvement in my case. C# multi-app-startup project with some serious multi-threading: I couldn't step through the code with any reliability; but after applying the hotfix I can step through that same code just fine.

Thank goodness!! I can't work without stepping through. Now I can get back to what I am supposed to be doing.
