JimGries wrote Jun 23 at 2:42 PM This QFE fixes three complete separate issues in the VS2008 SP1 Debugger: - Debugger can hang the IDE after setting a breakpoint when working with a large C++ project - Breakpoints do not bind correctly when an MSIL file is built containing .line directives - VS crashes when debugging a classic ASP web and debugging is stopped. Tadeu wrote Aug 6 at 7:15 PM Didn't work for me... I've installed this and KB957912 too. Setting a breakpoint still hangs when debugging C++ code, specially in multi-line expressions and templated methods. BTW, the breakpoint red icon sometimes appears with some black dots around it when it happens. The only think that it fixed is that when I kill the application being debugged, the IDE comes back to normal (before, it kept hanging even after killing the application being debugged).
