Resource Page Description
This sample contains a Project Server 2007 PSI Extension that retrieves geo data based on a custom field, and then the main feature is an AJAX Web Part that uses Virtual Earth to display the location of all the projects. The geo data is held in a local XML file - but could be extended to use a public web service.

The document describing the sample is available both in the zip file with the code, and also as a separate download on the Downloads tab. The easiest way to work through this example may be to deploy the PSI extension and other necessary files (Geo Data MXL file, gif for display while loading) and then work through the dovument creating the web part project from scratch.

This was first presented by Boris Scholl at TechEd 2008 and has been updated to Visual Studio 2008 and Virtual Earth 6.1 by Brian Smith.
