Resource Page Description
There are many Windows Mobile devices on market with lots of different Form Factors. For application developers, it sometimes is challenging to create one single application that deals correctly with all different Form Factors available.

These samples show you two different techniques to deal with different Form Factors. The first sample (being called AdaptFormFactor in the downloadable sample code) makes use of Form Inheritance to add touch screen capabilities to an application. In order to test this application on both Windows Mobile 6 Standard and Windows Mobile 6 Professional devices, you can connect and cradle a device emulator by means of Device Emulator Manager and just start debugging the application. Just take a look at how the behavior is different in a subtle way when you are running on a touch screen enabled device.

The second sample (GPSIDDemo) shows you how to deal with a Forms based user interface when the user switches from Portrait to Landscape mode vice versa by dynamically locating controls at appropriate locations of the screen.

This is the accompanying sample code of the webcast titled 24 Hours of Windows Mobile Application Development: Dealing with Different Form Factors.
