We are currently onboarding a new IT admin. We have successfully given the Authentication Admin role to the new IT employee, however, when we attempt to see the hardware MFA tokens that are in preview the admin cannot see any of the OATH tokens that are already in the environment. I cannot find much information on this issue. Has anyone else ran into this issue? If so, how did you fix it?

    Hi @Andrew G

Thank you for posting this in Microsoft Q&A.

I understand that your IT admin facing an issue where a new IT admin with the Authentication Admin role cannot see any of the OATH tokens that are already in the environment.

Hardware OATH tokens are available for users with a Microsoft Entra ID P1 or P2 license. The Authentication Administrator role does not have the ability to Hardware OATH tokens. In order to work with hardware OATH tokens, need global administrator privileges.
