Episode Hunter 0.9 is the latest release.
Episode Hunter searches epguides.com for television shows. Be sure to type the name as close as possible to its original. For example, Numb3rs must have the '3' in it to be found successfully.
Upon adding shows, Episode Hunter stores all of the episodes for that program, as well as their season numbers, episode numbers and air dates. Episode Hunter will tell you when the next new episode of the show is. Episode Hunter also has calendar which allows you to find what shows have NEW episodes on that day and also supports a selection of multiple days so you can find which shows are new this week. Episode information is updated at start-up.
Once you find an episode you wish to watch, you can select the Hunt! button which will search all resources (currently only SideReel, however more will be added in future releases) for streaming media of that episode. Episode Hunter does not verify the links, so some(few) may be broken. Links are shown by the site which hosts the video, however some may appear embedded at sidereel.com. All links will open in your default browser.
Episode Hunter.exe is recommended to be placed in a folder, as it creates two other resources upon execution, eh_data.xml and eh_backup.xml. These simply house all shows which have currently been added, as well as the episode names and other related information. eh_data.xml is the primary resource, however if this file is ever corrupted or deleted, eh_backup.xml will be used.
The 0.9 release is intended to find out what other sites people may be using or any enhancements they'd like to see in future releases.
