Release notes
The sample resource management client is made available "as is". The purpose of the sample client is to document how a customer would build a client to connect with ILM "2" Release Candidate's web services. The sample client is not an official release from Microsoft and is not supported. We do not recommend using the client in production. We suggest reading the code to learn the protocols and running through the sample scenarios to evaluate how the web service interface can work for you.

The sample client is designed to work with ILM "2" RC VPC that was released at IT Forum. A key reason for this was to ensure a stable testing environment for illustration purposes.

This client will be discussed in detail on the Identity Management Extensibility Blog. Stay tuned!

We regret we cannot accept code submissions from non-Microsoft people as that may "taint" the IP of this sample client. We do encourage you to fork the client onto a codeplex project for more general consumption. The product team, however, cannot help drive this effort.

Issues

1. I needed to reset my window layout when openning the solution the first time on one computer.
2. All of the files are read only -- this is an artifact of version control software.
