Apps for Office: Enable offline apps using browser caching
This sample shows how to create a calculator app for Word and PowerPoint that is available even when the host machine is an unconnected state. The app uses the HTML5 Application Cache API that is part of Internet Explorer 10 Preview to cache the files required to use the app.
