I would like to see samples that show to to lock down different aspects of the IDE- for example how to completely block the user from changing the name of a project item, adding a reference, changing the configurations, and deleting project items. Also, a sample that demonstrates how to get and set the current (not active) configuration and other similar properties (like output path) of a project would be good.
I have started working with the Managed Babel Framework and the MyManagedC example is a very good start. However, it is very limited and only has the basic features. I would love to see more features implemented in this example, such as Intellisense, Debugger Integration, Outlining, ErrorList, Drop Down Combos, GoTo Definition, and Auto-Completion. I realize some of these features are somewhat advanced, but that is why a good example is needed.
Hello VSX-Team,

Please, can you provide another sample project called "MPEdit" to show how to create and host the Visual Studio Core Editor (VsCodeWindow) as a child control, in a managed user control based editor?
Thx Ingmar
The VS SDK ships with a considerable numbers of useful samples. However, there is always room for a few more :-)

Please add any suggestions you have for new samples, code snippets, and "how-to"s. Thanks.
