  • can't connect to Azure

    • believe I have put in the correct connection information but doesn't seem to connect. no errors, no output, just re-displays the connection params each time so not sure what I am doing wrong.
    • -S, -d, and -sm must all be specified, for Azure (which doesn't support Windows Auth) both -U and -P must be specified. You can see the code for this in the IsValid method.

      /// <summary>
      /// Gets a value indicating whether the command line is valid, i.e. parsing it succeeded.
      /// </summary>
      public bool IsValid
      {
          get
          {
              // Verify that a correct combination of parameters were provided
              return this.ServerName != null &&
                     this.DatabaseName != null &&
                     this.ShardMap != null &&
                     (this.UseTrustedConnection ||
                      (this.UserName != null && this.Password != null)) &&
                      !this.parseErrors;
          }
      }
