    2 Posts | Last post October 12, 2013
    • I followed the instructions on page 11 I still get throw new Error("Unhandled Error in the Rough Cut Editor: Failed to load the loggingConfiguration. at LAgger.LoggerManager.ConfigurationLoaded(Object sender, DistributeConfigurationCompletedEventArgs args)\n at LAgger.Services.LoggerServiceClient.OnDistributeConfigurationCompleted(Object state)"); when I run in browser
    • Hi rickjac, sorry I didn’t reply sooner.

The default configuration should be ready to let you press F5 and start running the solution without any issues.

Did you make any changes in the configuration before running it? If not, do you have WCF enabled and configured correctly?
Try opening the LAggerService.svc URL in a browser (if you used the default IIS virtual directory it should be http://localhost/RCE.Web/LAggerService.svc). If everything is configured correctly, you should see a page with some documentation about the "LoggerService Service".

      Hope it helps,

    • why do I get 2181 errors when I build in VS 2012
    • Hi rickjac, sorry I didn’t reply sooner.

You must force the build of the solution twice to restore all the required NuGet packages (and you may also need to close and re-open the solution).
This is because some of the projects are using the Microsoft.Bcl.Build NuGet package, which requires building the solution twice to restore all the files correctly. For more details about the Microsoft.Bcl.Build NuGet package restore, please refer to http://blogs.msdn.com/b/dotnet/archive/2013/08/22/improved-package-restore.aspx.
