Thanks for providing this sample. I am using this as a reference and also for learning.
I downloaded the source and was trying to run this in my local machine. After few hiccups, I was able to get it running. User registration, sign-in and album creation works great.
The problem - After I uploaded a picture to a Album, the picture doesn't show up in the album. Rather a generic picture shows up which says "Processing Picture, please try again in a few seconds". Can you kindly let me know what might be the problem here?
I'm getting a null reference exception on call to this ctor...
public PhotoAlbumDataContext(Microsoft.WindowsAzure.CloudStorageAccount account)
: base(account.TableEndpoint.ToString(), account.Credentials)
which is called from this ctor...
The expression: CloudStorageAccount.FromConfigurationSetting("DataConnectionString")) seems to be returning null.
Anyone have a clue?
I just wanted to thank you for this sample application, I must say its very well written, I got couple of my doubts clarified by looking at the code, I am using it as reference for one of my projects..
Do you happen to know how can I use SQL Azure as my data storage for user data (like album name, likes on the photo, comments on the photo etc) and use blob &/ table storage for storing images uploaded? and have a reference to my blob entry stored in my db so that i can pull it quickly..
or do you think its a bad idea?
