  • Is this a Tutorial?
    2 Posts | Last post May 14, 2018
    • Only this page is available:

      https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/Sample-code-of-Getting-c56ccb28
(which is identical to the 'description.html' distributed with the sample)
I suspect there is a lot more to show (again, if this is supposed to be of any use).

    • Complete tutorial is available at the MS Docs page: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/aspnet/web-api/overview/getting-started-with-aspnet-web-api/tutorial-your-first-web-api

This sample code is not meant for complete tutorial. It is actually a sample code for that Docs link above.
  • Having errors when trying to use your sample code

    • I'm new to development and I am having problems when trying to run your sample.

provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 50

How should I set the connection and create the database? can you please detail these steps?

      Regards,
      Flavio
    • That error of SQL Network Interfaces is related to SQL Server error, outside the scope of this sample code. Please consult SQL Server documentation
  • The text in the description stops rather abruptly

    • Is there any plan to extend the text?

It stops in the middle of adding to the Models folder.
    • Extend the text?

      Please elaborate.
    • to the OP, i think Tarjei99 is asking if you were planning on completing your tutorial. Pretty much stops at the model.

      Something like this:
