Hi, Thank you both for your comments. We have confirmed that this is a bug in the sample, that appears when there is no images in the Pictures folder of the current user. We will take this bug into account in future updates of this sample. Thanks.
Do you have to have a server running Windows Server 2012 in order to go through this example?
Hi Marak60, Based on my understanding, you should be able to run this sample in either Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 (as long as it has the Windows 8 shell.) Also, you will need to have Visual Studio 2012 in order to open the sample.
