    • According to MS Play To Receiver design guidelines:
      "The DMR has been designed as a passive component that listens for actions from network controllers. Consequently, the DMR should be designed as an always-available service ready to receive actions when the user so desires."
      In what ways is it possible for a Windows 8 PC to fulfill this requirement?
      Is it possible for an app (such as this sample) to listen and react even when in the background (and preferably not be terminated?) Or is the "legacy" desktop Media Player the only way to do this?
