    • Hello, This is a great How To. I tried step by step in VS 2008 and it worked well. The server built and registered and the client accessed the server as designed.
But I tried building the server, same steps, in VS 2015 and 2012, and 2010, and I never could get the server to register.
Are there extra steps required in Visual Studio AFTER 2008?

    • Try running Visual Studio elevated. The post-build steps run RegAsm.exe which needs to be run elevated.
